1. (nom.) tu; dumneata, mata; voi; dv.;
you and I tu şi eu, tu şi cu mine;
you there! tu (ăla) de colo!
you don't say so! ei taci! ei lasă-mă! nu mai spune!
(sl.) you’re another! şi tu la fel (eşti mincinos etc.); parcă tu eşti altfel?
2. (dat.) ţie, îţi, ţi, -ţi; dumitale; matale; vouă, vă, vi, dv.;
he gave you the book el ţi-a dat cartea.
3. (ac.) pe tine, te; pe dumneata; pe mata; pe voi, vă; pe dv.;
who sent you here? cine v-a trimis aici?
you pronume B. reflexiv
(înv. - azi, yourself şi yourselves) te; vă;
sit you down! aşază-te! stai jos!
you pronume C. generic
omul; nimeni etc. (de cele mai multe ori nu se traduce, fiind implicat în verbul românesc);
you never can tell nu se ştie niciodată, nu poţi să ştii niciodată.
